Having played the other two it's very obvious that this wasnt made by the same guys. I looked at this and even on sale there's only really one content pack with the majority being skins for multiplayer. Sadly the only reason it comes to mind is that it could have been a great fight but was ruined by the qte heavy button spamming.Īvoid the season pass. Of the boss fights the only one that springs to mind is a glorified QTE. Batman also has the tendency of leaping fifty yards to kick someone rather than the person who was between you and swinging fists already. Other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like the varied time it takes for a combo meter to tick off or for stunned opponents to recover meant it just wasnt as enjoyable to me. If you played asylum and city then the plot twist was probably a bit annoying after the build up to who you seemed to be heading towards a final conflict with.Ĭombat in origins comes across as clunky at times when, for example, you move to knock out a downed thug only to have batman wave his arms above their head rather than smack their face into the tarmac. If that's the case, I'd say Arkham Origins gives you more stuff to do in the story mode, while Arkham City gives you more stuff to do in challenge maps (and 4 different characters to beat them all with, those being Batman, Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing while Origins only has 2, those being Batman and Deathstroke).īest gameplay is, again, subjective. I assume by which has more gameplay you mean which game has more stuff for you to do. For Arkham City people tend to say that it has a great beginning and ending with a slightly lackluster middle, some say the story is a mess and others say the story overall is great.

Some say the story of Origins is better than that of City, some say it's predictable, and some say there's no real story to speak of.
